October 8, 1964 – November 13, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our friend, our life, our love, Timothy John Barlow in his 59th year after a courageously dignified battle with cancer, now resting in peace. We were so blessed to have him with us to make memories for one more year. A companion of 34 years and loving husband of 17 to his wife Lily Barlow (nee Smith). Proud and loving father to his son Jordan Barlow.

He was an avid hunter and loved fishing and was known to many for his carpentry skills, working in the field locally for over 20 years.

Son of the late Jack and late Fay (nee Cordukes) Barlow. Dear brother of the late Wendy O’Laney, Janice Brown (Ted) and David Barlow (Danielle). Son-in-law of Stanley Smith and Anne Gardiner (Pat). Brother-in-law of Aubrey Smith, Jason Smith (Maxine), James Smith (Carolyn) and Ashley Gosselin (Daniel). Will be forever missed by all his wonderful friends as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Special thanks to Dr. Mary Shamas for all her compassion and care throughout as well as Dr. Jeeves and the nurses in emergency at NSHN-Blind River this last week. Thank you also to Bayshore home care nurses Marney, Nikki, Alyssa and Karla for all of their wonderful compassion and care.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Tracy’s Dream at www.tracysdream.com, a non-profit charity that helps support cancer patients with parking passes who are attending treatment at the Algoma District Cancer Program, Sault Ste. Marie or NSHN-Blind River Hospice/Palliative at www.nshn.care

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Tim’s life on Saturday, November 19, 2022 between 2pm and 4pm at the Iron Bridge Lion’s Hall, 10 Clarissa St.
