March 20, 1938 - February 2, 2022

Glensen passed away peacefully and into the arms of his loving saviour, Jesus Christ, at the age of 83. We are assured he no longer suffers and for this we rejoice. Soul mate of Beth (nee Reed) for 44 years. Father of Dean, Steven and Faith. Fondly remembered by his sister Jean, sisters in law Shirley, Helen and Karen and brother-in-law Ivan. Predeceased by his parents William and Susan Aquash, his 13 siblings and his favorite dog Gorby.

Glensen was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. These were skills he learned as a proud member of Walpole Island First Nation. A carpenter by trade, he worked in both the US and Canada. He also served with the US Navy.

He and Beth faithfully attended church, sometimes twice on Sundays. They were also devoted to Bible Study and very much enjoyed the classes.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Golden Birches Terrace for the care and love shown to Glensen and his wife, Beth.

In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates donations to Golden Birches Terrace. Please mail your donation to Golden Birches Terrace, 525 Causley Street, Blind River, ON P0R1B0.

A funeral service will be held at Calvary Gospel Church, 55 Queen Street, Blind River, on Friday, February 18, 2022 beginning at 11am. Pastor Mark Francois officiating.
