Malott scores OT winner as Manitoba Moose edge Milwaukee Admirals 4-3

WINNIPEG — Jeff Malott put away the game winner 1:45 into overtime, leading the Manitoba Moose to a 4-3 victory over the Milwaukee Admirals in American Hockey League action on Sunday. 

The Moose took a 2-0 lead into the third period but the Admirals scored three straight before Dean Stewart forced extra time with a power-play tally late in the frame.

Leon Gawanke had a goal and an assist for Manitoba (26-14-3), while Cole Meier scored and Declan Chisholm tallied a pair of helpers.

Milwaukee (24-20-5) got goals from Cody Glass, Cole Schneider and Jeremy Davies, and Rocco Grimaldi notched three assists.

Moose goalie Arvid Holm stopped 23-of-26 shots and Connor Ingram had 41 saves for the Admirals.

The win snapped a three-game losing skid for Manitoba.
