Blind River Council rejects $60,000 Boom Camp Road winter maintenance motion - Despite residents call to open the Boom Camp Road this winter, Blind River council has decided to leave it closed after learning it would have to use funding that was earmarked for maintenance of downtown streets to pay the $60,000 plus it would cost to open the road for outdoor recreation enthusiasts.
