Mississaugi Park hosted Lumberjack Days 2023 this past weekend with activities and competitive events for everyone.
Over 2,500 campers and visitors attended including more than 150 kids. Staff opened a second parking lot to accommodate everyone.
Mississaugi Park is jointly run by Serpent River First Nation, Mississaugi First Nation, and the City of Elliot Lake.
Competition events were a highlight of the weekend. The competing teams and event winners are:

A third-place team event tie between Boart Longyear and Mississagi Lumberjack was broken with an axe throw with Boart Longyear winning.
