For decades, the iconic French River Trading Post has been a must-stop for summer travellers driving along Highway 69 between Sudbury and Parry Sound.
But now that nearby construction of the expanded highway is complete, the trading post is no longer directly off the main road. Drivers who want to pull over for a pit stop must now exit the new highway and circle back to the trading post's parking lot.
Tracey Biggs, who co-owns the French River Trading Post, was a recent guest on Inside the Village, a news and current affairs podcast produced by Village Media.
