Blind River council is throwing its support behind a planned study of the impact boating activity is having along the north shore.

Council is supporting an Algoma Kinniwabi Travel Association’s (AKTA) grant submission to FedNor to conduct a study that will result in data collection post-pandemic where cruise ship impacts, North Channel activity, among other quantifiable facts will be learned.

Data collected will be available to shoreline communities for future needs and planning.
