Timmins 1, a 1,445-hectare wildfire that was confirmed on May 10, is the only fire that remains active in the northeast region, the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry said in today's release.
The fire is located two kilometres southeast of Morin Village and half a kilometre north of Barager's Lake. It is under control.
No new wildfires have been reported so far.
