The popular summer market at Blind River’s Timber Village Museum (TVM) and art gallery opens again this week.
It is the first evening market of the season running from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
There will be a variety of vendors showcasing their talents, a BBQ by JR's Pizza, music and face painting.
Visitors can also take in the current exhibit and sale at the gallery showcasing works by 16 artists from northern Ontario. The show opened on July 5 and runs until Sept. 4 and on Thursday evening artists will be on hand for a meet and greet.
Youngsters from 5 to 10 years can paint with local artist Conrad Bobiwash.
After the market, the local Rotary Club Concert by the Lake will be taking place at nearby Sellers Beach.
“It’s a great opportunity to support our local businesses and talented musicians and have some fun networking with visitors and community residents,” Mayor Sally Hagman said.
