Laurentian University has confirmed a third case of COVID-19 has been detected in an individual who lives in one of its residences.

The university community was alerted to the new case via email Feb. 8.  The person is self-isolating, said a spokesperson for the university.

“Public Health Sudbury and District has completed contact tracing,” said an email from the spokesperson. “The university continues to work with Public Health Sudbury & District as the health and safety of our community is our top priority.”
