Spring is coming to Camp Thompson located off South Bay Road on Dunlop Lake this Sunday at The AlgomaTrad Elliot Lake Festival Cabane à sucre.

The event is held in partnership with Rafo Rive-Nord and all afternoon events are free for the public to join in.

Unfortunately, according to organizer Myriam Cyr, the traditional cabane à sucre dinner and concert by the group RéVeillons is sold out.

“In the afternoon, there will be music, dancing, and outdoor activities,” she said of the afternoon events open to the public which include outdoor activities, a song-sharing circle, concerts by François Lemieux and Les Anges and a family dance.

A bus will be available from the Hampton Hotel at 12:30 to Camp Thompson for those wanting to attend the afternoon activities.
