Scott Arnold of Garson is sharing a $100,000 windfall with his wife, Kyla Henry, after the couple won big on an Instant Gift Pack.

A Garson couple is $100,000 richer thanks to a very lucky Christmas gift.

Scott Arnold and Kyla Henry of Garson received an Instant Gift Pack as a present.

“This was a gift from my aunt,” shared Arnold while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect their windfall. “Usually my wife plays the tickets, but she told me to go ahead and play it this time, because she never has any luck.”

He uncovered the selections and noticed the last two numbers matched.

“I instantly told myself I must have done something wrong,” he said. “When I realized I indeed won, I ran upstairs to tell my wife.”

For her part, Henry said she didn’t believe him at first.

“I didn’t believe him at first, then checked the ticket using the OLG app and it said ‘Big Winner’. We were both screaming with joy!” said Henry.

The couple plans to purchase a new car, take a trip to celebrate their five-year anniversary, and save.

“We will also share some with my aunt who gifted us the ticket,” Arnold said.

The winning ticket was purchased at J&T Enterprises on Lasalle Boulevard in Sudbury.
