A section of Milliken Mine Road and the Fire Tower Road will be closed starting June 7 2022 due to Road Resurfacing.
This letter is to inform residents of the City of Elliot Lake that the road to Fire Tower Rd. will be closed starting Tuesday, June 7, 2022, due to road construction.
This is a planned capital project where 800 meters of Milliken Mine Road, along with the entire length of Fire Tower Road, will be pulverized, and graded, with an additional double layer of surface treatment reapplied.
We are expecting that the entire process should be completed within a week and the city would like to thank you for your patience.
This project will be continuing onto Boychuck, PinePond and South Bay Roads, ending at Scott Rd.
