Hillside Drive North Road Closure Beginning Tomorrow
Staff has been working with Tulloch Engineering and the contractors currently doing work to Hillside Dr. N to coordinate traffic redirection as the project unfolds.
The contractor has requested that Hillside Dr. N be closed from April 22 through 26, 2024 to allow for some targeted subsurface infrastructure replacement between the Fire Hall and Beech Rd.
This closure would impact through-traffic on the roadway, but not local traffic; meaning that residents, businesses and emergency services will still be able to access their respective properties during the closure.
Local residents that use specialized transit will not be impacted by this closure.
Residents that use standard transit services at the Hillside Clinic stop will be asked to access buses behind the clinic on Spruce Ave. Temporary transit signage has been put in place to mark the stops.
