Time to start planning floats and other entries for this year's Santa Claus Parade in Elliot Lake. The theme is Christmas movies.

Participants in the forty-third annual parade are asked to martial in the Scotia Bank Parking Lot on Saturday, Nov. 25 and be prepared to start down the parade route at 6 p.m.

From the bank, the parade will turn right onto Ontario Avenue and travel to the intersection.

Plan to hang out in the 151 Ontario Avenue lot beside city hall after the parade for a tree lighting ceremony, Christmas carolling and free hot chocolate.

Prizes will be awarded for the best overall float and most creative entry. To enter the parade, fill out an online form, or pick up, complete, and return a physical copy at the front desk at city hall.
