Elliot Lake Red Wings forward Alex Antoine has been named one of Eastlink TV's three weekly stars following the club's back-to-back Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL) weekend wins in Kirkland Lake and Timmins.

The 19-year-old Elliot Lake hometown product was instrumental in both road victories and named a weekly league star, along with Hearst Lumberjacks forwards Zachary Demers and Riley Klugerman.

Both were instrumental in their team's back-to-back wins over the Soo Thunderbirds last week.

Antoine scored a personal single game best points total when he scored twice and assisted on two other goals Friday night against the Gold Miners.

He also scored in the game-winning shootout as the Red Wings put together a 6-5 come from behind victory over the Rock in McIntyre Arena Saturday night.

Antoine is the first Red Wings player to be honoured as one of the league's three weekly stars for week ending Sept. 25.
