It's good news for the healthcare needs of people in Elliot Lake.
Elliot Lake St. Joseph's General Hospital CEO Jeremy Stevenson announced today that physiotherapist Hilary Deverell will expand her practice to the hospital starting Sept. 22.
Deverell's is a registered physiotherapist with a special interest in providing rehabilitation to individuals living with a neurological or vestibular condition. She is a native of Blind River.
Deverell completed her Bachelor of Science, Honors Specialization in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario in 2015 and completed her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster University in Hamilton in 2017.
Deverell will be providing outpatient physiotherapy services at the hospital between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
