Are you passionate about making a difference and helping build safer communities within Ontario?

On Thursday, March 30, the Ontario Provincial Police in partnership with Mississauga First Nation Police Service and the Anishinabek Police Service will be hosting a meet and greet followed by a collaborative uniform recruitment information session.

Police are encouraging members of the public who are dedicated to upholding the law and serving their communities to consider attending this event to learn more about the challenging and rewarding career as a police officer.

There has never been a better time to apply for a career where you can make a difference in your community, the OPP said in a news release.

Whether you are interested in becoming a police officer, auxiliary member (volunteer) or working in a civilian role, the opportunities are endless, police said.

Attendees must pre-register to attend at this link or visit www.opp.ca/careers.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mississauga First Nation Sports Complex, 43 Park Rd., Mississauga First Nation.

Interested candidates are encouraged to visit opp.ca/careers where they can find out more information about the OPP and upcoming events.
