Six Elliot Lake Aquatic Club (ELAC) swimmers attended the Jeno Tihanyi Long Course Championship on the weekend. Combined, they earned the small team trophy by accumulating the most points for their respective sized club.

Emma Young finished atop the podium for each of her swims. Ava Young also proved she was on point over the weekend, finishing in top spot for all her swims. Both girls harnessed the hardware, bringing home high point trophies in their respective age group.

Ethan Young helped the club toward its stellar weekend, improving on his personal best times and earning a qualifying spot for summer festivals in his 200 m freestyle event.

Leiya Fortin also swam to personal best times alongside her teammates and earning key points for her efforts.

Avery Stirling consistently swam hard and earned podium finishes that helped boost the club’s recognition across the pool lanes.

Alyssa Hebert used the long course format to generate new times and personal bests.
