Huron Shores takes part in Household Hazardous Waste Day

Huron Shores invites residents and ratepayers to bring their household hazardous waste to the Blind River Community Centre or Sault's City Landfill as part of the Household Hazardous Waste Day

MUNICIPALITY OF HURON SHORES

The Municipality of Huron Shores is participating in the Town of Blind River’s Household Hazardous Waste Day on Saturday, July 23. Residents and ratepayers are encouraged to bring their household hazardous waste, free of charge, to the Blind River Community Centre between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Huron Shores residents and ratepayers may also drop off their household hazardous waste at the Sault Ste. Marie hazardous waste depot located at the City Landfill at 402 Fifth Line E. The Hazardous Waste Depot is open from Tuesday to Saturday between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (April 19 to October 22)

During the closed season, please keep your household hazardous waste items for proper disposal at one of the city’s event days scheduled periodically through the off-season. Click here for a list of acceptable and unacceptable items.
