Huron Shores lifts fire ban in time for weekend

The Huron Shores Fire Department advises that the fire ban, originally imposed May 16 has been lifted effective noon today.

Open-air burning (burning of brush, grass, debris) may only be conducted with a valid permit. Burning permits are available at the municipal office in Iron Bridge from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; the fee is $5.

For those who need to purchase a fire permit, while the office is still closed to the public, we ask that you call to complete the form and follow instructions from staff for payment and pickup.
