The council of Huron Shores has signed on as a $1,000 sponsor of the upcoming provincial ice fishing challenge.
Council approved the move at a special meeting Wednesday evening and will take part in the challenge being held for the month of February across the province.
Anglers interested in taking part are asked to register for the virtual ice fishing derby here.
