The Harvest Kitchen team is excited to officially announce its free or ‘pay what you can’ Christmas lunch.

On Friday, Dec. 23, people looking for a delicious holiday meal can visit the Elliot Lake Legion from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Organizers will be preparing and serving 100 Christmas lunches.

Tickets are available at the Elliot Lake Legion during regular Harvest Kitchen operating hours. (You must have a ticket to attend the Christmas lunch.)

The Harvest Kitchen is open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Note that the Christmas lunch will be dine-in only, organizers said in a news release.

With limited meals there will be no takeout available this day.

The lunch is also family friendly and fully accessible, organizers said.

The Harvest Kitchen also sent out a thank-you to community sponsors, private donors and volunteers for making this holiday meal possible.

With continued community support, the Harvest Kitchen program will continue to be successful in addressing the food insecurity needs of the community, they said.

The Elliot Lake Legion is located at 10 Alberta Rd.
