Algoma Public Health is reporting four new cases of COVID-19 in the area.
Two are from Sault Ste. Marie and area, one is from Elliot Lake and area and one is from central and east Algoma.
This brings the total number of active cases in the region to 19, three of which are non-Algoma residents temporarily in the region.
Through contact tracing, Algoma Public Health notifies all close contacts directly.
If you are not contacted by Algoma Public Health you are not considered a close contact.
