The three forest are:

  • Sudbury 1 measures 4.5 hectares and is not yet under control. The fire is located on the northeastern point of Manitoulin Island about 8 km south of Whitefish Falls off Hwy 6.
  • Bancroft 2, which started May 15, measures 8.8 hectares and is being held. The fire is located on the east side of Black Lake and is about 10 km north of Norland.
