Fire Chief John Thomas announced today that due to improved fire conditions and lower fire ratings from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, the fire ban has been lifted for Elliot Lake.
Fire Chief Ken Raymond announced that due to continuing dry conditions, the fire ban will remain in effect in Blind River.
