Even the moon came out to the dance last night

Hundreds of people gathered and the skies cleared for a fun evening at the Heritage Days Street Dance Friday evening

Hundreds came out to enjoy the Heritage Days Street Dance held outdoors beside the Elliot Lake Centennial Arena. Weather threatened the event all day. By the start time, it improved, and the skies cleared for a great evening.

A good crowd was already on hand to enjoy the opening act, the Shed Jammers- a local band and crowd-pleaser. Later, off stage in the crowd, drummer Steve Manual smiled and said, “That was fun!” and it was obvious the crowd felt the same way.

Graham Scott Fleming took the stage and continued to warm up the crowd, and the crowd warmed up to him.

Then as nightfall came, the Trews brought their music to an appreciative Elliot Lake crowd.
