Daniella Vincent of Elliot Lake was the winner of $15,760 in Elliot Lake’s St. Joseph’s General Hospital Foundation 50/50 draw.
The inaugural winning announcement was made today by foundation fundraising chairman William Elliott.
“March was the first month that we did an on-line 50/50 draw, and we will do 11 more, so once a month for a year," Elliot said. "The draw prize total is live updated on the website, so people can see it grow every time a ticket is purchased, and there is also a ‘countdown clock’ to the draw date."
Tickets for the next draw started selling on April 1 and are available online.
“While the funds raised stay local, anyone who lives in Ontario can buy tickets, so ex-Elliot Lakers, people who have family in town, etc., can support the foundation,” Elliott added.
