Elliot Lake’s Our Lady of Fatima Catholic school gym saw many visitors Saturday when the school hosted a St. Nicholas Christmas Workshop.
There was plenty to do for children and adults alike who took part in a number of holiday-related events. Even Santa attended the workshop to meet with children and have his picture taken with them.
Those who attended took part in ornament making, sending letters to Santa at a post office set up in the gym, face painting, cookie decorating or hopping on an Elf bouncy house.
In between events, there were refreshments available including, hot dogs, cotton candy and popcorn.
There was a steady crowd that attended the event honouring Saint Nicholas Day which is celebrated by Christians around the world in conjunction with Advent celebrations which started Sunday.
