Elliot Lake Emergency Food Bank has received a very generous food donation from Kraft Heinz Canada as part of the Kraft Hockeyville program. Kraft not only supports the community in sports but also in social service programs. Our food bank was selected as the social service program that Kraft would support.
Kraft was prepared to send us a single large load of food product, unfortunately due to the limited storage space we have at the food bank, they agreed to send us two smaller shipments. The first shipment of (7) seven skids of food arrives this afternoon. The value of the shipment is approximately $46,000.00. We will receive another shipment of food in early September.
The Board of Directors wants to extend its sincerest thanks to Kraft Hockeyville as well as all those involved who made Elliot Lake "Kraft Hockeyville 2024". This is an amazing donation.
