At École Saint-Joseph School in Blind River, everyone loves friendly competitions between classes! The Winter Olympics recently provided the perfect opportunity for students to display their team spirit. Students, young and old, won gold, silver or bronze medals.

Each activity was inspired by an Olympic sport. The most popular sports were biathlon, hockey, luge and curling. All disciplines were adapted so that they could be practiced in the gymnasium or in the schoolyard while offering students the opportunity to have a great deal of fun. An important portion of the points that were awarded to competitors was based on how each student encouraged fellow classmates. While each student was able to produce an individual coat of arms, each class had its own rallying cry, mascot, posters and costumes. The winning group was rewarded with a pizza dinner worthy of Olympic champions!
