The Ontario Ministry of Health has updated its guidelines regarding third doses (booster shots) for protection against COVID-19.
In line with that, the Elliot Lake Family Health Team (ELFHT) has announced the following people will be eligible for a third dose six months after their second dose:
- Older adults who live in congregate settings
- All adults aged 70 and over
- Health Care workers
- Indigenous people
- People who had two AstraZeneca doses
Elliot Lake residents can call the clinic to book boosters at 705-461-8882.
The Family Health Team is organizing vaccination clinics at the Collins Hall for booster shots.
