Between the hours of 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.
The City of Elliot Lake will be conducting a scheduled Water Main Flushing on Ottawa and all streets off Ottawa, Paris, Axmith and all streets off Axmith.
The Water Main Flushing may affect the surrounding neighbourhoods.
The maintenance work is done to improve water quality to Elliot Lake residents.
This may result in temporary discolouration as well as interruptions in service.
If you encounter discolouration, simply run the cold water until it clears.
Do not attempt to use any hot water during the flushing period as damage may be caused to your hot water tank.
