City forms working group to help organize 70th celebrations in 2025

Elliot Lake’s 70th anniversary is fast approaching and the city has issued a callout for an anniversary celebration working group.

In anticipation of 2025, the city has begun planning events and programs to help celebrate 70 years of Elliot Lake and they are looking for help, the city said in a news release.

You can join in on Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. at City Hall if you are interested in becoming a member of the working group to help organize the anniversary.
