Algoma Public Health is reporting a new case of COVID-19 in the Algoma district.
The exposure category is unknown, and the individual, who was tested on Dec. 7, is currently self-isolating, the health unit says.
This is the 62nd case of COVID-19 in the region.
Through contact tracing, Algoma Public Health notifies all close contacts directly. If you are not contacted by AlPH, you are not considered a close contact.
