APH reporting six new COVID cases

Algoma Public Health is reporting six new COVID-19 cases in the Algoma region.

Of the new cases, five are in the Sault Ste. Marie area and one is in the Elliot Lake area.

The new cases bring the total number of COVID cases in Algoma since the start of the pandemic to 310.

  • Sault Ste. Marie and area
  • Elliot Lake and area

There are currently 49 active cases in the region and one active case in a non-Algoma resident who is temporarily in the region.
