APH reporting 14 new COVID cases, 13 in the Sault area

The new cases bring the number of active cases in Algoma to 69 as of early Wednesday evening

Algoma Public Health is reporting 14 new COVID-19 cases in the region, 13 in the Sault area and one in east Algoma.

Of the new cases, 13 individuals are currently self-isolating and APH says the other is "under investigation."

Unknown exposure means the person did not have any recent international travel or close contact with a known confirmed case.

Close contact means the individual was infected through close contact with a known confirmed case.

There are currently 69 active cases in the region as of Wednesday evening and three hospitalizations.
