In collaboration with Sault College, Thessalon's Algoma Manor Nursing Home will be running a fully-funded personal support worker program beginning in the new year.
As part of the six-month program, students will be required to sign a two-year contract with Algoma Manor, but will be offered a flexible part-time working schedule in addition to their school schedule.
The training includes free tuition, books, and training that will be led by Sault College staff.
