The city has cancelled the scaled down Horne Lake Fishing Derby slated for mid-February. The city will contact all entrants and process refunds accordingly.

The Ford government has mandated a stay at home order and declared a renewed state of emergency. Even outdoor gatherings are limited to five persons.

The city will be reviewing changes to service levels to meet the spirit and the letter of the provincial orders and will update the public accordingly.

A virtual Town Hall will likely result when details emerge in the coming days.

In the meantime, all residents should immediately adhere to the calls from the province to remain at home and resist all travel for non-essential purposes.
