Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and
mechanical equipment in the facility. Your role will encompass preventive maintenance,
troubleshooting, install, repair and rebuild equipment without direct supervision. The position requires
inventory control and accurate documentation of work into the computerized maintenance program.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot equipment generally classified as mechanical
power transmission including gearboxes/drives, transmissions, conveyors (belt, scroll,
bucket), and rollers.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including inspection, cleaning, lubrication,
and adjustment of components to ensure optimal performance.
Perform basic to advanced troubleshooting of equipment mechanical issues.
Execute preventive maintenance plans to uphold machinery reliability and longevity.
Collaborate with production operators to identify equipment issues and provide
technical assistance as needed.
Utilize hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring and testing instruments, to
maintain and repair machinery.
General fabrication skills such as welding (ARC, MIG, & TIG), torch, cutting equipment,
and grinders.
Able to apply general mechanical knowledge in basic electrical blueprints.
Reads and understands blueprints and wiring diagrams used in diagnosing mechanical
and electrical problems.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment
logs, and inventory of spare parts using computerized maintenance system.
Perform monthly inspections and tests on safety systems.
Safely operate power industrial equipment such as heavy equipment and arial lifts
Comply with safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and
others, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Technical certification or relevant vocational training plus 2 years relevant experience or
5 plus years in industrial maintenance preferably in injection molding or paint equipment.
Strong understanding of electrical controls as well as PLC’s.
Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to
install, diagnose and repair equipment.
Ability to utilize and operate a computerized maintenance management system.
Ability to operate and be a licensed power industrial truck operator.
Ability to operate and be a licensed aerial platform operator.
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, kneeling, climbing,
crawling, and twisting.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently to position heavy equipment and parts.
Ability to constantly stand and walk on concrete floors wearing safety boots during 8
hour shift.
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold,
dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to a SAFETY-FIRST culture.
Flexibility to work weekends and nights for projects and respond to emergency
maintenance situations when required.
