The Prime Minister has announced that large and small businesses are eligible for a 75-per-cent COVID-19 wage subsidy.

Charities and not-for-profits also qualify.

Trudeau says that translates to up to $847 a week for four months, back-dated to March 15.

The Canadian Press reports that businesses will have to show that their revenues have fallen by at least 30 per cent.
