Video released of suspect in Blind River Town Hall theft

Black Dell laptop worth approximately $2,350 was stolen

Crime Stoppers and the Ontario Provincial Police are requesting your assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an incident of break, enter and theft.

Sometime between the evening of May 12, 2021, and the morning of May 13, 2021, an unknown suspect attended 11 Hudson Street in Blind River at the rear of the Municipal Town Hall.

The suspect moved a picnic table closer to the window and smashed the window on the southeast corner of the building, which is the Mayor’s office. Once the window was broken, the suspect reached through the window and removed a black Dell laptop worth approximately $2350.
