On May 12, 2018, at approximately 10:53 a.m., the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police members were on regular patrol duties on Stevens Road in the City of Elliot Lake, Ontario.
Police conducted a traffic stop and investigation revealed the driver was suspended. As a result the male driver was charged.
Martin St. George, 43 years of age, from Elliot Lake, Ontario was charged with:
- Driving while suspended, contrary to section 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on July 4, 2018.
