ONTARIO PROVINCIAL POLICE

ESPANOLA - On Monday, Mar. 5, 2018, at approximately 3:25 p.m., an officer from the Manitoulin-Espanola Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), was conducting traffic enforcement on Highway 17 in Baldwin Township, Ontario.
Police conducted a traffic stop and the investigation revealed the driver was suspended.
As a result, Christian Wasyliw, 36 years of age, from Nairn Centre, Ontario has been charged with:
- Driving while suspended, contrary to section 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Espanola on June 7, 2018.
