SABLES-SPANISH RIVERS TOWNSHIP - On Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018 at approximately 8:29 p.m., officers from the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a male damaging numerous vehicles, on Lee Valley Road in Sables-Spanish Rivers Township, Ontario.
As a result, Glenn Ward, age 49, from Sables-Spanish Rivers Township, Ontario has been charged with:
- Possession of Prohibited Device for Dangerous Purpose, contrary to section 88 of the Criminal Code (CC),
- Mischief - Interfere with any Person in the Lawful Use, Enjoyment or Operation of Property - Under $5,000, contrary to section 430(4) of the CC,
- Mischief Under $5,000, contrary to section 430(4) of the CC, and
- Being intoxicated in a Public Place, contrary to section 31(4) of the Liquor Licence Act.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Espanola, Ontario on Feb. 1, 2019.
