Police respond to complaint of transport driving 'all over the road'

The complaint indicated that at one point the transport was completely westbound in the eastbound lane on Highway 17

TOWNSHIP OF THE NORTH SHORE - On March 10, 2018, members from the East Algoma Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint where a westbound tractor trailer was all over the road and at one point was completely westbound in the eastbound lane on Highway 17 in the Township of the North Shore.

Shortly after 2 p.m., the vehicle was located in Blind River and a traffic stop was initiated. As a result of the investigation, Rupinder Singh Dhillon, 33 years of age from Winnipeg, Man., was issued a provincial offence notice and charged with unsafe move-lane or shoulder, contrary to section 154(1)(a) of the Highway Traffic Act.
