ESPANOLA - On Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at approximately 5:04 a.m., officers from the Espanola Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of the Sudbury-Manitoulin Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to an assault on Old Webbwood Road in the Town of Espanola, Ontario.
The victim was operating a taxi, when the fare he was transporting assaulted him. The victim sustained minor injuries. The suspect, who fled the scene, is described as the following:
- Male
- Medium Build
- Approximately 5'7"
- Head and face were fully covered
