The East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for assistance with regards to a break and enter that occurred at a business property on Timber Road in Elliot Lake during the night of Nov. 29, 2022.
The business was broken into during the night, and several items were stolen:
- Lincoln 180 Mig-Pak welder on cart
- red pistol grip ice auger blade in canvass bag
- fishing rods and tackle
- two outboard motors (8hp Johnson and 9.9hp Evinrude)
- three chainsaws (Stihl, Husqvarna, and Jonsered)
- Honda 2000 watt generator
- two Dewalt drills and tool bag
- Bombardier side-by-side Hitachi four-piece track set
- Honda 724 track snowblower
- bottles of brandy and cognac
In addition, a pickup was stolen and later found completely burnt on Pipeline Road.
