OPP seek help investigating November break-in in Elliot Lake

Someone broke into business property on Timber Road on the night of Nov. 29, 2022, stealing numerous items and pickup truck; it was later found burnt on Pipeline Road, police say

The East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for assistance with regards to a break and enter that occurred at a business property on Timber Road in Elliot Lake during the night of Nov. 29, 2022.

The business was broken into during the night, and several items were stolen:

  • Lincoln 180 Mig-Pak welder on cart
  • red pistol grip ice auger blade in canvass bag
  • fishing rods and tackle
  • two outboard motors (8hp Johnson and 9.9hp Evinrude)
  • three chainsaws (Stihl, Husqvarna, and Jonsered)
  • Honda 2000 watt generator
  • two Dewalt drills and tool bag
  • Bombardier side-by-side Hitachi four-piece track set
  • Honda 724 track snowblower
  • bottles of brandy and cognac

In addition, a pickup was stolen and later found completely burnt on Pipeline Road.
