OPP investigating suspicious house fire

ESPANOLA - On Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018 at approximately 12:37 a.m., officers from the Manitoulin-Espanola Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Espanola Fire Department responded to a fire at a residence on Queensway Street, in the Town of Espanola, Ontario.

The fire is being considered suspicious and is currently being investigated by the Manitoulin-Espanola OPP, the Espanola Fire Department, and the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshall. There were no injuries and the investigation is continuing.

Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this incident should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
