Neighbour dispute leads to fail to comply charge in Huron Shores

Police say that one of the neighours was on conditions not to communicate with the other

On April 2, 2021 shortly after 8:30 p.m., members from the East Algoma Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a neighbour dispute on Dumond Road in the Municipality of Huron Shores.

Investigation determined an argument ensued between two neighbours. One of the neighbours was on conditions not to communicate with the complainant and as a result, Artur Mroczkowski, 58 years of age, from the Municipality of Huron Shores was charged with: failure to comply with undertaking, contrary to section 145(4)(a) of the Criminal Code (three counts).

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Blind River on June 10, 2021.
